Naoto tried his best not to catch the nasty flu making its way around but sadly his efforts failed and he became sick once we arrived back in Tokyo.

Takamatsu

We introduced Kai to the Ikdea family during our recent trip to Naoto's hometown Takamatsu. We had a wonderful time. It was so lovely to see everyone's reactions to him. Naoto's Aunt and Uncle are pictured on the right.

Christmas

We had a very mellow Christmas with just the three of us. We played with Kai and lounged in our pajamas all day, a perfect holiday. It was really fun to see Kai interact with his toys. He grabs at anything you put in front of him now and puts just about everything in his mouth. He's currently working on a mission to eat his toes, which once completed will sadly end Mimi's toe licking days. He's also trying to roll over and when seated on someone's lap tries to sit up. He turned 4 months old on Christmas Eve and is now 15 lbs.
