Merry Christmas

Christmas pageant at the international school. They sang/acted out "When Santa Got Stuck in the Chimney." There's my little brown bear at the end, who had the very important job of being the final pull that got Santa out.
He was the only kid who wanted to keep his make up on.
Making gingerbread houses that were the winning prizes for a game of bingo (or as Kai kept calling it "mango")
To his delight and my dismay he was one of the winners.
The bribe to the big man.
Kai asked for a skateboard and Noah was down right adamant about only wanting a whistle.
He was so obsessed with getting his whistle that it took him nearly 20 minutes to realize the bike that the whistles were handling from was also his.
"Sup yo."
Christmas cake! My favorite part of the holiday.
The savages.
Holiday love with the Bean.
Taking the new toys out for a spin.
Happy as a clam at high tide.
Already attempting tricks that will surely land us in the emergency room.
Absolutely loving that he is FINALLY able to be louder than Kai.
Pint sized bad ass
and cheeky charmer all rolled into one.
Displaying some serious attitude.  It seems Noah has decided raising his pinky and ring fingers  for every photo we ask him to pose for is now his trademark.
A very happy holiday.

Kai's Art Exhibition

The kindergarten put on an adorable art exhibition. Kai's self portrait is at center.
His pine cone frame.
His interpretation of autumn.
Elephants: Kai's is at the left.
His car made from found objects.
Rubbish Reinvented.
His masterpiece.
The enthusiasts.

November Roundup

Our first children's theatre experience. "Nutcracker (no tutu's... but beware of the ninjas!)"
Noah loved it, which I knew he would. He loves anything performance related.
Kai on the other hand...  He eventually perked up once the ninjas 'sneaked' on to the stage. Although, he was quick to tell me he did want to go again.
The trials and tribulations of being a younger brother - the human canvass.
He even got the backside.
Seems the markings only added to his 'super powers' as they activate lord knows what at this point.
Illustrating my Captain America fighting skills., which do not look nearly as cool without the shield and mask.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Declaring this one a success since we did manage to have edible food this year.
Silly little flowers.

Kai's Sports Day

This year's theme was all about ninjas.
Kai's ninja who apparently is struggling with an unfortunate skin condition.
The start of their dance
The competing teams
Psyching dad up for the wheel barrel race
The medals ceremony
The champions
