Merry Christmas

Christmas was officially declared once the cake and Tomas were brought out on Christmas Eve
part of the feast. Kai said "he looked pretty"

The cookies and milk set out for Santa. This was the first year that he actually understood the idea of Santa Claus. The entire month leading up to Christmas he was so excited and would pretend to call and email Santa constantly declaring he wanted a "scooter and that's it!" but sadly when it came down to the hours before Jolly Old St. Nick would arrive he was absolutely terrified of the idea of a strange chubby man entering our home in the middle of the night. He was so petrified when I tucked him in for the night he broke out into hysterical tears and begged me to call Santa and to tell him not to come. I have to admit it was a bit difficult to take these fears seriously and not let out even the slightest giggle.
Santa luckily was unreachable and the scooter arrived!
The bean vs the tree vs me. By Christmas I threw in the towel and allowed Noah to enjoy the sweet/metallic taste of victory
Preparing to give the scooter a proper go
and we're off
and we're down
Cheerful little spectator
This was our "hey we're tourists at Tokyo Tower" moment
Seems that Santa is a pretty cool guy after all and he was "just joking" of being scared of him
and now we're an unstoppable scooting pro

State Side

Yep this one definitely belongs to me. Kai took on the big city like a true New Yorker.
The dinosaurs at the Natural History Museum were his absolute favorite
The Met
Gangstas
The beav.  He makes this face every time he gets super excited and can't contain his laughter which usually happens every five to ten minutes of everyday, man do I love this baby.
Gobble Gobble. Happy Turkey Day!
